 Actuators with Rods

Cylinders with piston rod: compact cylinder, short stroke cylinder, flat cylinder, round cylinder, miniature cylinder, cartridge cylinder or stainless steel cylinder

Rodless Actuators Rodless linear drives with or without guide: mechanically coupled cylinders with optimized mounting options for simple mounting and magnetically coupled cylinders
 Semi Rotary Drives

Semi Rotary Drives: compact swivel modules with small fitting space and adjustable swivel angles, as well as modular as twin piston rotary drive

Tandem and Multi Position Cylinders  Tandem cylinder: More thrust than conventional cylinders by connecting 2, 3 or 4 cylinders with the same piston diameter and the same stroke in series
Multi-position cylinder: By connecting in series 2 to 5 cylinders with the same piston diameter and different stroke lengths
 Stopper Cylinders

Stopper Cylinders: For stopping or separating when transporting workpiece carriers or pallets – smooth, low noise and safe stopping

Clamping Cylinders  Clamping Cylinders: Single and Double-acting clamping modules, linear/swivel cylinders
Guided Actuators  Drives with Linear Guides:  Mini slides and guide units in various sizes for precision and guide quality
Bellows & Diaphragm Cylinders  Bellows cylinders: Drive and pneumatic spring elements for harsh, dusty environments or for use under water.  Fluidic muscle as a tensile actuator modelled on a biological muscle
 Shock Absorbers  Shock Absorbers

Pneumatic Actuators

Pneumatic actuators are intended to convert pressure energy into motion energy, a process involving the transmission and dissipation of forces.  Festo was the first manufacturer in Europe to create pneumatic cylinders;Festo Cylinder our first pneumatics range came out in 1956.  Festo places great importance on outstanding production quality: Every drive is subjected to a comprehensive test program with function, leakage and endurance tests. These provide statistics confirming service life characteristics for the best possible operational safety.  Festo’s vast line of pneumatic actuators include; cylinders with piston rods, rodless cylinders, tandem and multi-poistion cylinders, stopper, clamping, bellow and diaphragm cylinders.  Within each of these categories there are still more choices such as compact, short stroke, guided and corrosion resistant versions.
